Professional Statement

Dr. Wu has extensive experience in General Practice, having graduated in 2002 from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). After working as a physician, he transitioned to private practice in 2004 as a GP. In 2013, Dr. Wu returned to the public sector, focusing on primary care. He earned his Fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016 and was recognized with the most outstanding candidate award during the Fellowship of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in 2019, specializing in Family Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Wu holds a Diploma of Child Health (DCH) from Sydney University, a Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary Barts and The London School of Medicine, and both a Diploma and a Master of Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in the UK. After two decades of practice in Hong Kong, Dr. Wu relocated to Australia, where he continues his medical career since 2022.

Dr. Wu is skilled in managing a wide range of chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and COPD. He has a particular focus on diabetes management, especially for patients requiring insulin therapy. His interest also extends to skin medicine, where he handles various dermatological conditions. In addition, Dr. Wu provides PrEP services, further supporting his commitment to comprehensive patient care.
